However, it’s not as simple as cutting a hole in the existing glass. The solution involves replacing one of the glass panels entirely (more on that below). Why you cant cut hole in existing glass?
Most glass doors use tempered glass for safety, which shatters into harmless pebbles if broken. But this also means it cannot be cut or drilled after installation. Attempting to modify it will destroy the panel. Instead, a professional will:
