Can you fit a pet door into glass?
Yes, and it is our most common job. Toughened glass cannot be cut after tempering, so we measure your door, fabricate a new panel with the opening cut in, and fit the flap into it. Clean, safe and properly sealed.
What about sliding doors?
Two options: a new glass panel with the flap fitted, or a removable insert panel that sits in the sliding track. Inserts are renter-friendly because they come out without a trace.
Do you handle double glazing?
Yes. Double-glazed units need a purpose-made sealed unit with the flap opening built in. We measure, order and fit it as one sealed piece, so the insulation stays intact.
Will dust get in through the flap?
Good sealing makes the difference. We fit brush seals and magnetic closures around every flap, and we seal the frame to the door. A properly fitted pet door lets your pet through, not the dust.
How long does installation take?
The site visit is usually quick. Once the panel or insert is ready, fitting typically takes under an hour, including testing that your pet’s new door swings freely.
